1. Scope

This licence covers the song, lyrics, audio file, artwork and gift page delivered by MusicForYou after payment.

2. Customer material

The customer retains any rights they hold in submitted text, memories, photographs and other material. They allow MusicForYou and its providers to process that material solely to prepare, produce, check and deliver the order and confirm that all necessary permissions have been obtained.

3. Licence granted

After full payment, MusicForYou grants a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive and perpetual licence to the delivered version, subject to this document and third-party rights. It permits personal listening, downloading and storage; private sharing with relevant friends and family; playback at a private event such as a birthday or wedding; and publication on the customer's personal social accounts, provided the creation is not presented as exclusively human-made and does not infringe third-party rights.

4. Uses not included

Without prior written permission, the licence does not permit resale, sublicensing, inclusion in a product for sale, third-party advertising, film, broadcast, games, music libraries or distribution through music platforms such as Spotify or Apple Music. It does not permit trade-mark registration, a claim of absolute exclusivity or removal of a provider attribution.

Additional commercial permission may be considered depending on the intended use, applicable provider plan and available rights.

5. Assisted creation and available rights

Lyrics and music are created with automated assistance. Music may be generated with ElevenLabs — Powered by ElevenLabs. Available rights may depend on the provider agreement and plan in force when the song is produced.

MusicForYou does not promise that every generated element independently qualifies for copyright, is legally exclusive or has no similarity to another creation. The licence covers only rights MusicForYou is actually entitled to grant. Moral rights and third-party rights remain reserved.

6. Restrictions and private links

The creation must not be used to impersonate a person or voice, imitate an identifiable artist, spread unlawful, deceptive, defamatory or harassing content, or infringe intellectual-property, personality or privacy rights. The gift page is private but accessible to anyone with the link; the customer controls sharing and may revoke it.

7. Termination and status

Following a serious breach, MusicForYou may require the offending use to stop after notice. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

This version was approved on 24 August 2026 by the MusicForYou operator for the pilot launch. It had not been reviewed by a legal professional as of that date and may be updated later. The version accepted when an order is placed remains the version governing that song.
